aaushi mehta
I’m a London-based architectural and interior designer, registered as an architect in India, with experience across residential, hospitality and commercial projects in the UK and internationally.
I see architecture and interiors as inseparable. My approach connects spatial planning with materiality, craftsmanship and the details that shape everyday experience from the arrangement of a room to its bespoke joinery, furniture and finishes. My work spans concept development through technical delivery, bringing together design exploration and a practical understanding of how spaces are made.
With a Master’s in Bio-Integrated Design from The Bartlett, UCL, I also bring a research-led perspective to materials and fabrication. My research has explored living ceramics, ecological systems and experimental biomaterials, informing an ongoing interest in how design can respond more thoughtfully to its environment.
Across practice and research, I’m drawn to spaces and objects with character, purpose and a strong connection to place.
